a limited edition of 22
exclusive ceramic lamps

Created from the connection
of two Macau based designers
and a Portuguese based artist.

The concept
was to merge living, working,
and intercultural experiences
with the heritage between
Macau, China and Portugal.

Inspired by the
Chinese plastic red lamps,
typically seen in
traditional markets
of Macau and Hong Kong.

Produced in
a pottery workshop
in the village of
Montemor-o-Novo,
Portugal.

Handcrafted
by the designers
Clara Brito and Manuel Silva.

Miramics
are Ancient and Modern Lamps.
The conciliation between
the Past and the Future.

They reflect
the intercultural relation
between Macau, China
and Portugal.

Explore the crossover
between traditional forms,
objects, functions and materials
from these two cultures.
